The Gdynia half-marathon race was first organised in 2016 and has instantly become one of the largest events of this type in Poland. In terms of participants, it’s one of the 10 largest running events in Poland. Nearly 6,000 runners crossed the finish line in 2018.
The main half-marathon distance race (21,097 km) is planned for Sunday 17 March and will start at 11 AM. A relay race is also taking place.
The whole 2-day event also consists of many additional events. On 15-16 March the Gdynia Arena will host a Fit Living Expo, as well as the race office. On Saturday, 16 March, children and teenagers can take part in their own races. A purpose-built running village next to the Gdynia Aquarium will be hosting a number of fun activities for whole families.

Gdynia Half Marathon was awarded the Bronze Label Road Race, which confirms the highest organizational standards.

Gdynia Half Marathon is the host of the World Championships in Half Marathon 2020

The program also includes runs for children and youth, and a half-marathon relay race.
