We will all meet on January the 13th 2019 to raise money to buy equipment for specialized children's' hospitals. There will be different cultural, entertainment and sporting activities to take part in during the Grand Finale collection, but one stands out for sure - Get Even with Diabetes run. The main event will take place in Warsaw, where 5000 runners will take part in the 5K run. This family-friendly competition is held in order to raise money to buy personal insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes. 

The event can take different forms when organized by different Collection Centres - it can be a jog, or a Nordic walking race, for example. They all have one thing in common, however - money raised through the sale of starting packs goes towards the purchase of personal insulin pumps, which are available for rent, from clinics across the country. These pumps are then used by women with diabetes to control their insulin levels during pregnancy. Personal insulin pump helps manage diabetes in a way which limits stress levels and is conducive to a healthy, safe pregnancy.
