The history of CST MTB Gdynia Marathon dates back to 2005. This means that the Gdynia XCM marathon will take place at the seaside for the eighteenth time. This year's event will be the last test before next year's European Marathon Championships. MTB Marathon in Gdynia not only attracts competitors and experienced mountain bikers. It is also dedicated to whole families. This year's CST MTB Gdynia Marathon will once again be preceded by a race for young cycling adepts. Abus MTB Kids Race this year will take place on June 10. 

The competition of the youngest will take place in the vicinity of Gdynia Arena. A single loop of 500 meters awaits them. The competition in the category from 7 to 18 years of age will start at the foot of the Gdynia hall and will take place among the surrounding hills and forest ducts. With age, the level of difficulty and distances covered will increase. The oldest – Juniors – will have four loops totalling 9 kilometers and 600 meters.

In addition to the race for children, the marathon town offers equipment tests, equipment stands, foodtracks and attractions for children.
