The start is held at the Olympic distance. Athletes have to cover 1.5 km of swimming in the Gdańsk Bay, followed by a 40-kilometer hilly cycling route leading through Kashubia, and finally, a 10-kilometer run through the streets of Gdynia, filled with enthusiastic spectators.
